This policy explains how Daily Plate ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit dailyplatekalkan.com or book our catering services in Kalkan, Antalya, Türkiye. If you have any questions, email us at info@dailyplatekalkan.com.
1. Who we are
Daily Plate is a catering and private chef service based in Kalkan, Antalya, Türkiye. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Turkish residents can also read our KVKK Aydınlatma Metni.
2. What we collect
- Booking details: your name, phone / WhatsApp number, email address (optional), villa name or location, date, time, number of guests and the menus you choose.
- Dietary and allergy information: anything you tell us in the notes field, so that we can prepare your food safely. Please only share what we need for this purpose.
- Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Website usage: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised information about how you use our website.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your request, confirm your booking and provide our service.
- To contact you about your booking by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To keep records for accounting and to handle any complaints.
- To understand and improve our website (only with your consent).
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing messages without your permission.
4. Legal basis
We process your booking details to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform our contract with you. We process allergy and dietary information and analytics data with your consent. We keep basic records where the law requires it and to protect our legitimate interests (for example, preventing misuse of our order form).
5. Who we share it with
- Our web hosting provider in Türkiye, which stores our website and order records.
- WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us, and our email provider when you email us.
- Google, if you accept analytics cookies.
Some of these providers may process data outside Türkiye or the UK. We only use well-known providers with appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
We keep booking records for up to 2 years after your event, unless the law requires us to keep them longer, and then delete them. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
7. Cookies and local storage
Our website stores your basket and language choice in your browser so the site works properly. These are essential and do not track you. Analytics cookies are only set if you click "Accept" in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of our home page.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@dailyplatekalkan.com. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
